The Wyoming Valley Veterans Day Parade Committee recently gathered to make plans for this year’s Veterans Day Parade to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, from Kingston corners, following Market Street to Public Square, Wilkes-Barre. The committee invites area residents of all ages to attend and show their support for the men and women who have served in the armed services both yesterday and today. Committee members are retired Lt. Cmdr. Susan Allen, Lt. Cmdr. Michael Boettcher, Major Gerard Wrazien, parade chairman, Lt. Col. Robert Hartmann, retired Col. Charles Luce, Sam Greenberg, Alice Kleiner, Officer Ron Foy, Louis Cora, Michael Collins, George Brown, and Charles Coleman.
